I purchased this along with the Wilton Intermediate 53 Piece Decorating Set in order to compare traditional bag piping with this device. It's a little more awkward to hold than I originally thought after filling it with icing. It is, however sturdy despite being made of plastic. Another downside is that it does not take standard decorating tips. I may try the Wilton Dessert Decorator Pro a little later after I get better at decorating since that particular model does take standard tips. All in all, it is a wonderful and inexpensive way to compare methods to see what works for you. If you find your hand cramps with traditional bags, this will make it easier to decorate cakes, cookies or even fill deviled eggs. Be sure to use a "lighter hand" when using this device; it doesn't take much to get the contents out.

Love it, love it, love it! I just bought this and it does do what it's suppose to do but I find that it wastes so much icing since the tips are huge. Also it's very hard to write with the writing tip with this tool. I'm returning this one to buy the regular 'bags' method.
